Alabama Police Officer Accidently Shoots Partner While Trying to Shoot Attacking Pit Bull

WATCH: Video released from the Hanceville Police Department in Alabama shows a Pit Bull attacking a police officer on July 19. Officers responded to a call after neighbors say the dog attacked and severely injured their dog, and also tried to attack them. While speaking to the dog’s owner, Shannon Michelle Cooper, the dog was taken off of the leash, and attacked one of the officers, biting him several times in the leg. The officer shot the Pit Bull, killing it. Cooper was arrested in the incident.
